Welcome to Timsbury Art Group

I am an artist/ maker currently undertaking a course with the Kings Foundation Heritage Crafts Programme. I am utilising my stone masonry skills and broadening my craft knowledge through a project at Dumfries House and several work placements with masons around the country. I’ve always loved exploring different arts and crafts, often juggling multiple projects at once. Nature is my greatest inspiration, from its textures and patterns to its movement and colour. I work primarily in stone sculpture, printing and crochet, each offering a different way to interpret the natural world. Stone carving has been a passion for a number of years, and I exhibit with the Cotswold Sculptors Association. I also enjoy calligraphy, refining my letter design with the Mendip Calligraphy Group. Crochet, a constant creative companion, even travels with me when deadlines loom! I have also run a knitting and crochet group in Midsomer Norton, fostering a sense of community through craft.
